Now we've heard of extreme length nails, I mean heck we've created some super long talons in the salon. However for Diana Armstrong of Minnesota, USA having long nails is an understatement. Diana has been honored with the Guinness World Records title for the longest nails on a pair of female hands EVER!
Diana's nail growth story however is a sad one, one evening Diana's daughter painted her nails and then the same night she died in her sleep from an asthma attack. So to keep the memory of her daughter alive, Diana decided never to cut her nails again.
At current each of Diana's nails are as long as a ski pole, take 5 hours each to polish and require 20 bottle of polish to complete her fullset. So to help her with the mammoth task of keeping her nails laid & slayed, she enlists the help of her grandchildren. All we can say is "Wow wow and wow again" it would take a whole lot of determination and a heck of a lot of patience for one to handle nails this long. However as they symbolize the beautiful life of her daughter, we are sure the sacrifice is well worth it!!
