Serene Nails is committed to providing transparent prices, amazing services, safe products and an overall relaxing and comfortable salon experience. We pride ourselves on keeping our prices coherent with the quality of our products and service and we remain committed to ensuring our prices are as fair as possible. By not increasing our prices for the last two years, even though we experience the ever-increasing costs of materials, shipping and business costs. In order to continue to provide an amazing service for all of our clients to enjoy, we have put some measures in place to ensure a smooth seamless customer experience.
OUR PRICES:
Serene Nails has provided an online booking system, which allows clients to access all of our prices, services, dates and times prior to booking any appointments. We have implemented this system, as it allows clients to view all prices and agree to them prior to booking, confirming and attending appointments. Therefore providing all clients with the opportunity to make an informed choice.
Please Note: As all of our prices are available online and we can be contacted via IG, Facebook, TikTok. Whatsapp, telephone, e-mail and live chat (On our website). It will be deemed all clients are happy and agree/ consent to our prices. In addition, Serene Nails will not be held responsible for services booked in error, which may result in a price reduction or increase to any services. In such cases Serene Nails will inform clients of the change (Where possible), however we cannot take responsibility for the price difference, or any service bookings made in error. No Exceptions!
ADD-ONS DURING SERVICE:
During your service/ treatment at Serene Nails, if you request nail art or additional modifications such as nail repairs, nail creations, gel removal, extreme nail shapes etc. These requests are classed as “Add-ons to the service” and as such are chargeable. If in doubt during the service, with regards to whether a nail modification or nail art is chargeable or for information on costs please ask your technician during the service (Before the nail art or modification takes place). Please note: The above list is not exhaustive, therefore any add-ons not listed/mentioned above are also included under these terms.
In addition, if nail art or modifications is not requested when the initial booking is made. Serene Nails will try where possible, to accommodate the extra add-ons to the service. However, where Serene Nails are not able to accommodate, we reserve the right to not provide nail art, service modifications or add-ons. No Exceptions!
ADMIN FEE:
Serene Nails currently accepts Credit/ Debit cards and contactless payments. However please note when choosing to use the above as a form of payment there will be an admin fee. However, we also accept cash BBDS and US Dollars with an exchange rate of (1 USD = 2 BBDS).
CARD MACHINE:
Serene Nails currently accept Credit/ Debit cards and contactless payments. However, at times due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g loss of power, machine error, service provider error) we may not be able to accept card payments at that time. Please Note: in cases like these Serene Nails, cannot be held responsible for availability or non-availability of the card machine. Therefore clients would need to provide an alternative method of payment.
GENERAL
The use of this website and access to all the services provided are subject to all of the following terms, conditions and notices. Serene Nails reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website. As of the date above. It is your responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by our latest Terms and Conditions. Access to this website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Services without notice. Serene Nails will not be liable if for any reason this website is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts or all of this website.

Serene Nails respect your right to privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy and Cookie Policy sets out to define how we collect and safeguard your information as well as how we use this information to improve our products and services for the benefit of all our customers both online and in store.
The personal information you choose to share with us, along with data collected on how you use our Websites help us to better understand our customers as a group and as individuals. This then helps us to advise you on the products and services that meet your needs.
By using this website, you consent to the processing described therein and warrant that all the data provided by you is accurate. Please Note; Serene Nails will never disclose customer/ client information to third party or any other agencies.

We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and comply with all the rules that are set out to ensure the protection of your data and information. For specific information on the Data Protection Act please contact the Information Commissioners Office.
PROHIBITIONS
You must not misuse this website. You will not: commit or encourage a criminal offence; transmit or distribute a virus, Trojan, worm, logic bomb or post any other material which is malicious, technologically harmful, in breach of confidence or in any way offensive or obscene; hack into aspects of the service to corrupt data; cause annoyance to other users; infringe upon the right of any other person’s proprietary rights; send any unsolicited advertising or promotional material, commonly referred to as ‘spam’ or attempt to affect the performance or functionality of any computer facilities of or through this website. Breaching this provision would constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Select will report any such breach to the relevant law
enforcement authorities and disclose your identity to them. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distribution denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may affect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or another proprietary due to the use of this website or to your downloading of any other material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.
NAIL & BEAUTY SERVICE BOOKINGS
When booking any nail and beauty services online, you will be sent confirmation of your appointment direct to the e-mail address you provide. If you book your services via DM on Social media (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Pintrest, Tumbler or Twitter), we will confirm your booking via DM. We also accept telephone bookings, and will confirm the appointment during communication.
Please Note: If after booking your service online, you do not receive a booking confirmation from us confirming your appointment within 30 minutes. Please contact us at serenenails3@outlook.com so we can check your booking status and confirm your booking. Failure to notify us regarding a missing booking confirmation, may lead to your appointment not being booked. Therefore, you will not be booked in for your appointment, and we may not be able to carry out your service on the day.
For all Nail and beauty bookings, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Therefore, if you can no longer make your pre-booked appointment. We ask that you contact us 24 hours before your appointment, to either cancel or reschedule your booking. This can be done by:
(a) Phone
(b) Logging into your Fresha account and changing the date or cancelling the appointment
(c) Sending us a DM on ANY of our social media accounts
(d) Via our website, using the contact us form
Please Note: Failure to notify us of an “appointment cancellation”, or simply not showing up, will incur a no-show fee of $10 to your next appointment. No exceptions!
PAYMENT FOR IN-STORE NAIL & BEAUTY SERVICES
We accept all major credit/ debit cards, inc chip & pin and contactless payments. Please note there is an admin fee on all card payments. We also accept cash in-store (Bajan Dollar & US).
ONLINE ORDERS
All products/ orders placed via https://serenenails3barbados.wixsite.com/serene are available for collection only, at current we do not offer a delivery service.
To place an order with us, please send an email to serenenails3@outlook.com and please state the following;
(a) The "Product name" of the items you wish to order
(b) The date you will collect your order
(c) Your full name and your contact number
Please Note: All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The confirmation stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this, we will send you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered.
PAYMENT FOR ONLINE ORDERS
Payment for your items can be made in three ways;
(a) "Cash" when you collect your order in store at 4 Skyway Plaza, Hastings Christ Church, Barbados
(b) Via credit/ debit card in-store
(c) By making a payment via Paypal.me (Please note; to use this service, you must already have a Paypal account). If you would like to pay using the Paypal.me option, please send an email to serenenails3@outlook.com and we will send you our Paypal.me details
RETURNS/ REFUNDS NAIL & BEAUTY SERVICES
FLAT & GEL POLISH REPAIR POLICY:
Flat/ Regular Polish: Polish applications may last between 1 to 7 days, depending on specific factors such as client lifestyle, client health and the following of maintenance instructions.
As a result of this Serene Nails CANNOT repair (free of charge) or guarantee the longevity of ANY flat/ regular polish product once your appointment has been completed due to the varying factors explained above. No Exceptions! Please Note: Any repairs required will be subject to a repair charge of $10
Gel Polish (Shellac): Is a long lasting polish, which cures under UV light. This product may last a duration of 1-3 weeks, depending on several factors which include client lifestyle, client health and following of maintenance instructions.
However, there may also be additional complications due to the climate, chemistry of the product and other factors that may cause product breakdown (peeling, lifting, fading, wrinkling, etc). Due to this Serene Nails GUARANTEE’S all Gel Polish applications for 3-days, in which you may return to the Salon to have a repair done FREE of charge. Please Note: The repair/ replacement must be booked and completed within 7 days of the date, of the service taking place. No exceptions!
However, it is at Serene Nails discretion! If we feel that your product breakdown exceeds normal wear and tear you will be charged for the nail repair service. No exceptions!
Any additional repairs required outside of the 3-day time frame and prior to your next maintenance appointment will be subject to a repair charge of $8
REPAIR POLICY FOR NAIL EXTENSION SERVICES:
Hard Gel & Acrylic nail extensions are long lasting durable nail products, designed to last on your nails for an indefinite time period when appropriately maintained. Maintenance (Infill’s) on these services should be conducted every 2 to 3 weeks (Hard Gel) and 2-3 weeks (Acrylic) and done by Serene Nails.
However, Hard Gel & Acrylic Nail extensions are NOT indestructible and you can experience complications after a service including breakage, lifting due to specific lifestyle factors or product chemistry. As a result of this Serene Nails GUARANTEE'S all Gel & Acrylic Nail extension services for 4-days, in which you may return to the Salon to have any repairs done FREE of charge!
However, it is at Serene Nails discretion! If we feel that your product breakdown exceeds normal wear and tear or its chemistry error you will be charged for the nail repair service. REPAIR POLICY FOR NAIL ART/ CRYSTALS/ FIXTURES/ STAMPING/ GLITTER/ 3D EMBELLISHMENTS:
All nail art fixtures with raised surfaces such as Crystals, glitter, 3-D embellishments, stamping, foils and nail art are NOT guaranteed by Serene Nails due to the unpredictable nature of client’s daily activities that may cause loss.
SERENE NAILS REFUND POLICY:
No cash/ credit refunds will be given after a client has left the salon. No Exceptions!
Serene Nails deem, leaving the salon means you have accepted and are happy with the service/s provided.
Please Note: No refund will be given, because you have simply changed your mind.
COMPLAINTS PROCESS:
1. If you are not happy with your service, please make us aware of this before you pay.
2. We will correct any service at no cost to you, provided that you tell us immediately after we have performed the service (But before you leave the salon), that you are unhappy with the quality of the work.
3. If you are still not happy after we have corrected your service, we will remove all products applied/ enhancements etc We will then issue a refund (minus a 30% charge for consumables/ products), via the same/ original method of payment.
Please Note: Due to the nature of some services, materials used and the removal process Serene Nails does NOT provide refunds for the following services Facials, SPA Pedicures, SPA Manicures, LVL Lash Lift, Lash & Brow Tinting. No Exceptions!
REFUSAL OF SERVICE:
Every client that patronizes Serene Nails is welcomed, greeted, appreciated and treated with the upmost respect. Therefore Serene Nails does not tolerate rudeness towards staff or other service users, which may include (but is not limited to) shouting, swearing, intimidation, threats, racist/ offensive comments, aggressive attitudes, high maintenance attitudes, haughty behavior, excessive critiquing of service. Any client/ service user found to be behaving in such manner as listed above, will have their service stopped and will be asked to leave the salon.
Please Note: The Serene Nails Team reserves the right, to refuse/ cancel any services due to take place in the salon. If we believe that going ahead with the service may cause harm, injury or damage to clients or our staff. No exceptions!
DAMAGE, ACCIDENTS & LOSS:

The Serene Nails team take great care, when carrying out treatments and services in the salon. We strive to provide a safe, clean salon and ensure your personal items/ belongings are not damaged whilst you are using our service. However use of the salon is at clients own risk, therefore Serene Nails will not accept responsibility for damage, accidents or loss.
RETURNS/ REFUNDS PRODUCTS
As all products are collected in-store, it is deemed that customers have access to the product to check for damage, suitability etc. Therefore Serene nails do not provide refunds, or exchanges for any products. All products collected/ purchased are sold as seen. No exceptions!
TERMS OF SALE
By placing an order, you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following Terms and Conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
Serene Nails retains the right to refuse any request made by you.
If your order is accepted, we will inform you by email and we will confirm that you are contracted with Serene Nails. When placing an order, you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and correct. All prices advertised are subject to such changes.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled.
Please Note: All prices are inclusive of VAT.
DISCOUNT CODES
Discount codes may from time to time be offered to account holders. These codes may only be applied to purchases made through the account in respect of which the discount code was offered and registered. Promotional discount codes may from time to time be offered which apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases/ services made through this Website.
Discount and Voucher codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer unless otherwise stated. All promotional requirements surrounding Discount and Voucher codes such as stated minimum spend requirements must be met before a discount can be applied.
Please Note: Serene Nails reserves the right, to void or cancel any discount codes at any time without prior notification.
OWNERSHIP OF RIGHTS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights and all materials and/or content made available as part of your use of this website shall remain at all times vested in us. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us.
