So as I'm sure you've heard, as we've been hooting about it EVERYWHERE!! The team were involved with "The Great Scratch Shoot Out" international nail competition. We submitted our entry and our chosen theme was AFRICA!!!
We’d just like to say a HUGE thank you, to EVERYONE who sent messages, supported and voted for our entry. The results are now in and unfortunately, we didn’t win. However we will always be winners, in our own eyes 😊 The team we’re super pumped, to be part of this awesome project....The amount of doors and opportunities, it has opened for us is absolutely incredible.
Getting involved in nail competitions, nail inspo challenges and collabing with other creatives. Is an amazing way to come out of your comfort zone, grow in your craft and expand your network. As a team we always believe, being part of such experiences is not just about the winning. But about the person you become and the skills you develop, as you embark on the journey.
For us taking part in the competition, really stretched our creative skills. As we had to come up with the overall theme, location for the shoot, hair, make-up and most importantly the design for the nails. Taking us out of our regular, day to day services at the salon roles. To catapulting us into, crew members slash directors for the photo-shoot.
All in all, it was a brilliant experience and one we will be sure to explore again!! Toodles xxx
