Sermazing Question of the Week: Why does my gel polish chip?

Now that's a brilliant question and one we get asked, a lot in the salon. There can be a variety of reasons why this happens. But one of the main ones we've noted, is that it's due to not capping the free edge on the nail during the service.

To ensure your pwetty gel manis last long, stay strong and withstand the daily tid bits that we generally put our hands through. We suggest: - Capping the free edge of the nail, when you apply base, top and you choice of colour - When capping the free edge, use a bit more product on your brush and lightly float it across the free-edge - If you are painting short nails, to cap the free-edge gently pull the skin down (Just under the free-edge) and gently float the product along the nail Muwah xxx #Sermzingnailtips #Nailadvice #Gelpolishchipping #rednailsautumn2019 #Fashionweekrednaillooks #Chomenails #Londonnailtech #Sermazing #rednailsautumn2019 #Fashionweekrednaillooks #Chomenails #Londonnailtech #Sermazing #Chomenails #Londonnailtech#Londonnailtech #Sermazing #Sermazing #bloggingtips #bloggingtips #bloggingtips#bloggingtips #bloggingtips#bloggingtips #Barbadosnailtech #Barbadosnailtech #Barbadosnailtech#Barbadosnailtech #Nailsaloninhastingsbarbados #Nailsaloninhastingsbarbados #Londonnailtech #Londonnailtech #Gelish #Gelish #Nailart #Nailart #Everymandohisthingalittlewaydifferent #Everymandohisthingalittlewaydifferent #Everymandohisthingalittlewaydifferent #Everymandohisthingalittlewaydifferent #Yoserenecomethroughmama #Yoserenecomethroughmama #sermazettes #sermazettes #sermazettes #sermazettes #Nailsofinstagram #Nailsofinstagram #Scratchmagazine #Scratchmagazine #Scratchmagazine #Scratchmagazine
